About Me
I am obsessed with local live music - the unknown, unsigned, grassroots bands at gigs where you can get a whole night of entertainment from for a fiver.
I was really involved in the local music scene in Cambridge when I was at university, but life got in the way, I settled down and found myself completely disconnected from the me I used to be. After getting a divorce, getting back into the local scene was one of the key parts of finding myself again. But, I started to get overwhelmed at gigs and my anxiety forced me to leave early on a number of occasions. That all changed when I started forcing myself to the front row to take photos. Trying to give myself something to focus on other than how sticky the floor was, I found a new passion - photography.
Now, with a camera in my hand, it doesn't matter how messy the mosh pit is, I'm always at the centre of the action waiting to get the shot.
